Sunday Summaries #31: Results and Writing

I found out on Tuesday that I will not be needing chemo. My onco score was literally one point below where we would need to begin discussing it. But if I were 6 months older, the score would be smack dab in the middle of the no-need-zone, so it is off the table. YAY!!!

Radiation is the next step. Lots of fun times ahead, I’m sure. So I am spending this week prepping all of the supplies I will probably be needing to get me through the radiation. Next week is the “dry-run” and I will probably start treatment the week following.

So in light of all of this, I am trying to get the book I am currently in the process of writing finished before the fatigue of radiation sets in. Mid-first week to mid-second week is apparently when it starts to hit. So I have about a week and a half to get serious about the writing. I have been working on it, and the streak is unbroken. We will see how much I get done this week.

Picture of the week: My boy in a box. He loves doing this.
